Assistant Headteacher of Learning and Teaching

ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER OF LEARNING AND TEACHING

Salary: Leadership Scale (not suitable for NQT)

Fulbrook is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Headteacher of Learning and Teaching. In light of the proposed plans for the future of the school and its move to secondary status, this is an exciting and crucial time, as we shape our provision to ensure that our curriculum is ambitious and of the highest quality.

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • motivate and lead individuals and teams;

  • plan strategically and work collaboratively in order to achieve common goals;

  • shape and articulate our curriculum intent, implementation and impact.

 

Fulbrook is a very popular, high achieving four-form entry school for children aged 9-13 years, with an exciting strategic plan for the future. We have recently obtained approval for funding to convert to an extended secondary school (9-16) from September 2022.

 

Set in a magnificent green field site, just within the county boundary of Bedfordshire, the school is close to the exciting and vibrant city of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. Our current number on role is 414. As an extended secondary school, we shall have approximately 600 pupils on roll.
