We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of English in KS3 and KS4. The ability to teach Media Studies is desirable. At an extremely exciting time for the school, as we become a 9-16 extended secondary, we have plans to make improvements to the English department facilities. This will include a newly refurbished library and learning resource centre.
You will:
- have Qualified Teacher Status
- be secondary trained
- have the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
- have excellent organisational and ICT skills
- have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
In light of the plans for the future of the school and its move to secondary status, this is a crucial time, as we develop our provision for students up to the age of 16.
